The basics
- Is it really free?
- Yes. All 39 tools are free and unlimited, with no account, no card and no expiry. They run on your own machine, so serving them costs us almost nothing and metering them would be an artificial limit rather than a real one.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. There is nothing to sign up for. Open a tool and use it.
- Is there a watermark on anything?
- No, on any plan. An export you make here is clean.
- Is there a file size limit?
- None that we impose. Because nothing is uploaded there is no bandwidth cost for us to protect, so the ceiling is your own device's memory.
Privacy and safety
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Every tool reads your file from disk, transforms it in your browser's memory and writes the result back. There is no request carrying your content. The test worth doing: load a tool, disconnect from the internet, and use it — it still works.
- Do you use cookies?
- None. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for sessions. That is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. Your theme choice is kept in localStorage, which is never transmitted and which we cannot read.
- Can I use this on confidential material?
- That is one of the main reasons to. Because nothing is transmitted, processing a contract draft or an unreleased asset here does not disclose it to anyone. With a server-side tool the operator necessarily receives a copy, whatever their policy says.
- What do you log?
- Standard web server request lines — IP address, timestamp, URL, user-agent — kept 30 days and then deleted. Never joined to anything, never sold, never used to build a profile.
Using the tools
- Do they work offline?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. There was never a request to make, so losing the connection changes nothing.
- Which browsers are supported?
- Current Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and mobile. A few tools lean on newer platform APIs and will say so if your browser lacks them rather than failing silently.
- Why did a tool run slowly?
- Because it ran on your device. A large file on an older phone is genuinely slower than on a laptop — that is the honest trade for not uploading. A server-side tool moves that work elsewhere, and moves your file with it.
- My tab crashed and I lost the result. Can you recover it?
- No, and this is the real cost of local processing. We hold no copy, so there is nothing on our side to recover from. Work on copies, never on your only version of something.
Paying, and the company
- What does a paid plan add?
- Only things a single anonymous tab genuinely cannot do: batch processing, saved presets, and history that follows you across devices. Processing still happens locally on every plan. See the pricing page.
- Can I use the output commercially?
- Yes. Anything you produce is yours, with no licence fee and no attribution requirement. We claim no rights over it, because we never see it.
- Can I cancel, and do you refund?
- Cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Fourteen days, no questions, on the first payment of any plan.
- How do you make money if the tools are free?
- Paid plans. It used to be advertising, and we removed that script — it set third-party cookies and profiled visitors, which made a site arguing that nothing leaves your browser into one that leaked you to an ad network on every page load.
